She's grown up in polite society, determined to break away from the stereotype of a delicate woman she used her father's connections she gets a job working with the forest rangers. She does not shy away from anything even a rat who decides to take up residence in her cabin.Ford was a hero who clearly did not want a woman invading his mountain, yet he learned that Margie wasn't a push over and that she would pull her own weight. While they might have disagreed here and there, they unite quickly on keeping a ski lodge out of the mountain.My Bottom Line:This was a beautifully written book filled with sights and sounds of Mount Rainier. Karen Barnett wove scripture in an out of the story creating a visual experience of God's creation. There is a sweet budding romance that both Margie and Ford attempt to avoid. I am a Kindergarten teacher and was excited to receive this product. I am so disappointed, no where in the listing did it state that these were bound by thread, which I could get over, but they are very poorly bound (see photo). Inside the books there are threads hanging where the book was bound, one pull and these books will turn into a pile of loose leaf pages.

My son, who just turned 6 years old and is Kindergarten, is on Level D for a while, so I got ahead of myself and bought the next Level Readers to help him advance to the next level. These books are much like the Levels C/D but with some advanced words and the stories are longer. Good books to get my son to the next Level.

I got these as Summer reading for my soon to be 1st grader. I like that they are educational and perfect for his reading level but most of the books have double pages throughout which is annoying. They need better QC on the manufacturing of these books.

This is a nice little set of readers with good science information. My son (beginning first grade) has struggled with his reading, so we use these at home to support this area. He loves the color pictures and I often have to let him stop reading a sentence because he refers to the picture to re-enforce what he is reading and he is really interested in nature. I wish they had the next level in sets.

These are great and the only level E & F readers I was able find. However I wonder if they are really level E & F as my child read easily right away. Still a great buy and love the learning at the same time, but just wondered about that.

These books have interesting pictures and nonfiction stories, and are great for kids who are reading at beginning of 1st grade level. I bought them to use with my 1st grade students this year.

I got these for my kindergartener over the summer. The teacher said they sometimes lose reading skills heading into 1st grade. He was at level D on his report card. These are perfect, just the right amount of challenging.

Some of these readers overlap with an earlier set of science readers, however I like the new books. They are revised with more content. My son was happy to read this set. Pictures are wonderful.

I used this for the real estate exam, and found it to be very useful. It also contains sections devoted to mathematical analysis and terminology. I passed the exam on the first try.

I could have accessed this from the online course but I prefer hard copy for extensive reading. Also, this version has different quizzes at the end of each chapter than those in the course so I feel like I'm learning more.

Purchased to go along with online class. They followed along together really well. Easy to read and understand, concepts relayed really well. I liked the summary reviews of key concepts at the end of each chapter - that and the review questions at the end were great for cramming before the test.

This book is terrible! It is not specific to the principles book or practice book, it’s an overview of both. The title is very misleading. On top of that it is generalizes real estate. I live in California and the laws are different. After doing research I found that most other books are state specific, at least when it comes to California and Florida. Very disappointing! I wanted a book to read and take notes along side the online courses. Waist of money! Save yourself time & money don’t buy this book! Trying to find out if I can return it now!

It's the same as my online class material, only in book form. Good for hi-lighting, underlining and taking notes.

Purchased this book for my real estate studies as recommended. It will be one I will keep handy as reference when needed. Good informative material.

Easy to read and highlight without bleed through. Good quizzes and good practice test. Wish there were a few more definitions and the back and the index was a little more through. It would be really good to have a math section separate along with the math questions in the back, but I have taken this book everywhere and used often and it's still in excellent condition.

Necessary to pass a real estate exam, especially if you are taking an online course, and was delivered in a timely manner. Very helpful

Great variety of ice-cream, gelato, sorbet, and frozen yogurt. I use them with my self-freezing ice-cream maker with great success, even though they were written for a Cuisinart freezable tub model. Delicious and great selection.

Love it and plan on using the easy to understand recipes. However, do Not buy the Kitchenaid ice cream book as the recipes are identical and wording mostly the same. I made the mistake of buying both, thinking they were different recipes/viewpoints! The authors of both books are different, which led me to believe a difference. They obviously are written by the same person. A good book but don't need 2 identical recipe books for ice cream.

I love it! I have the Cuisinart, and I use it to prepare frozen treats for my kid. Really loving the recipes here. This book will help you become a master ice cream maker in seconds.

...and the new cover art is miles above what was published the first two printings. Most of the other reviewers of this book have already covered the basics and the details.This is a handy resource for the nitty-gritty about implants and other upgrades, including nano technology, gene therapy, and organ leggers (I have a game idea there). Everyone needs a good doctor, and if they'll take used cybertech in payment, well, sometimes you might have to just follow the wetwork up with some recycling.

So far, I have been a fan of the 4th edition of Shadowrun, and this book only improves my opinion of the game. If you are wanting to play a character who Chromes themselves out (ie: uses mechanical augmentation, cybernetics) then this book is for you. Not into Chrome? Prefer flesh? No problem, this book has bioware covered too. Lots of new information about how such things are viewed in the world. Lots of new ways to customize your characters. Great fiction (as expected in an SR book). Well worth it, I cannot recommend it enough for Shadowrun players.

This book was NEARLY everything I was expecting...However, the real cover is a little provocative... Not that I'm personally complaining, but when you open a box of books in front of your 65 year old mother.... that WASN'T what I was expecting to find....The actual cover art is of an elven woman in a vat tank, with nothing on but a strip of cloth and some ciberware...Just FWI....Aside from giving my elderly mother a start... no worries...

One thing about the Catalyst Shadowrun 4th edition books is that you always get what you pay for and in many cases more than you pay for. :) But if you cannot make the cybered-up character of your dreams using this book then you are not trying hard enough. The only gripe I have at all is that I got a newer printing that had different cover art, a very minor gripe but I wish Amazon would at least show the one you are getting.

Excellent book. Version is celebrating 20 years of Shadowrun is the best.Very complete book. Highly recommend.This supplement Shadowrun comes complete some small details that are missing in the basic book.The Work of the publisher is impeccable.

This has a few nice positive qualities to take the sting out of implants. It also has some gene augmentation stuff to make a runner more buff. It has a new pieces of wear that are nice, but nothing that's a must have. It's merely a good source of new ideas in the vein of implants.

As a supplement it was less useful than I'd hoped, but it has a lot of useful information for the world- just less of what I was looking for, namely gear. I do recommend it for the alternate forms of cyberware and bioware, and the additional medical rules.

This book offers quite a few more options as far as upgrading ones characters with bio or cyberware. This book also goes more in depth into the symbiotes and what they can do.

Black Butler is one of my favorite anime, but I think the manga could be even better. Where the first volume establishes the characters and the setting, this one really gets into the action and introduces great characters like the "real" Grell Sutcliff, Lau, and the Undertaker. Unlike in the anime, the manga takes advantage of the format and gives you glimpses into Sebastian's thoughts about Ciel (his only talent is getting kidnapped) and the servants (apparently he sees them as imbeciles). In fact I really felt more like I "knew" Sebastian the character after reading the manga.The author really goes through some involved twists to finally get Ciel into a party dress, and I did find it hilarious. Black Butler is great and one of those hard-to-find things; a wholly original idea executed beautifully.

This manga is about a young boy who promised his soul to a demon in exchange for help finding the identity of the people who killed his parents and getting revenge against them. In the meantime, the demon masquerades as his butler and takes orders from him. The setting is in Victorian England, and the artwork is beautiful. I often find myself wanting Ciel's clothes. The storylines are at times funny and at times dark and serious. I especially enjoyed reading the author's behind-the-scenes stories at the very end of the manga, which you don't get if you only read the manga in serialized form. Some of the themes in the manga are dark, so it's more suitable for older children and adults.

Black Butler is a fun sort of paranormal, steampunk, alternate victorian reality romp. I really enjoy it. If you're coming to the manga from the anime, there are some character differences, and a little dissonance. The english Funimation dialog was quite good, but the manga is better with backstory, innuendo and some slapstick. I will continue to buy them, as I enjoy the series so far. The characters are quirky and often hilarious (Undertaker LOL).

I really liked volume 2. It is nice to see a little more of Sebastian's evil side peaking out with every new volume. I didn't think I would like this series when my daughter insisted I try it, but it has become one of my favorites. The weird relationship between Ciel, the young master, and Sebastian, his devil bound manservant is interesting in itself. The bumbling house staff and interesting touches of victorian England flesh out the stories nicely. Ciel is in service to the Queen and has to track down the infamous Jack the Ripper. This is the first part to that story, which also introduces some interesting new characters (love the creepy undertaker!). As usual the artwork is really beautiful, though I sometimes wish she wouldn't use such small print for her side notes. Overall, you won't be disappointed in this one.

I've been following the manga since the Noah's ark circus arc and have to say I enjoyed this act as well this volume concludes 'the Weston collage arc' and begins 'the green witch arc' this arc ends in a very shocking twist that's all I'll say so I won't spoil it for you, there's also a in-between chapter about ciel and Sebastian dealing with characters form a previous arc which is hilarious and as usall the artwork is great. Over all I recommend this volume to fans of the series.

This volume was just as good as the first, if not better. The author Yana Toboso continues to explain more of the characters' past experiences and motives. In this volume, Sebastian and Ciel are suppose to help discover who Jack the Ripper is on behalf of the queen. This volume contanis the famous scenes of Ciel in a dress. Yes, it's as adorable as you think it is. The artwork is beautiful. The backgrounds and clothing contain lots of details so it's a feast for the eyes. I don't want to say more about the story because it will ruin it. Trust me, it's good. There is a cliffhanger at the end of this volume that is immedaitely resumed in volume 3.

I ordered this volume along with nine other volumes from the same series. All of the books came to me as described , new. The condition was great; no nicks, bends or tears anywhere. The covers were shiny and free from finger prints (except my own I made during observation.) They all arrived within the estimated delivery time frame and were packaged well.5 out of 5 stars.
