A lot of these recipes are not your every day recipes. They require weird things that my grocery store has never even heard of. I wasn't able to make a lot of the recipes because of the things they requested. The recipes are a lot "fancier" than we are used to.

This cookbook actually has recipes that are low calorie and actually have flavor. I have had a really hard time in the past finding this with low calorie recipes. It has a lot of different unique recipes that I have found surprisingly good. I make something out of this at least once a week if not twice. The only downside is that you are probably going to have to make a trip to the grocery store for some of the strange items on the recipes that you don't have in the house.

I love flipping through this book and trying to decide what recipes to try. My husband and I are both usually really busy during the week, so the weekend is the perfect time for us to break out the cookbooks and try something new. Tonight was Beef Sirloin Tips in Smoky Pepper Sauce, and it was definitely tasty. So far all the recipes don't look intimidating with their methods or ingredients, and I can't wait to try more!

I love this book. It’s organized, contains pictures and all the nutritional information. The recipes are simple and easy

I like this book because I am trying to learn some new things as far as preparing low calorie meals go. They break down the science of low calorie cooking as though it were a science. I was impressed.

Excellent cookbook for someone wanting a wide variety of recipes with calorie counts for everything. Some of the recipes were a little weird, but I'd be willing to try (and have successfully made quite a few of them) the vast majority of the recipes in this cookbook.

Love the recipes in this book

I am sure this is a fine cookbook, but If you are looking for low calorie recipes this book is not that helpful. Pizza ,waffles, pancakes, french toast, Brownies, cookies, cupcakes. I checked the calorie per servings on most of the recipes and it was as high or higher than normal everyday pizza etc. As an example Chocolate-cherry cookies 97 calories per cookie. vs an oreo cookie at 70 calories. Is the cook book version healthier? I suppose it might be, I wouldn't call it low calorie. This book was not at all what I thought it would be. It has very few low calorie recipes. If you need recipes for cupcakes and other high calorie foods it has plenty of options to choose from.
